Interim terms — effective 30 August 2026, under final legal review. They accurately describe how Kwelo works today. A small number of items are being finalised with our legal advisers. Governing law: UAE (Emirate of Dubai), with EU/Finnish mandatory consumer protections preserved (see §13).
These Terms govern your use of the Kwelo app and website, operated by Kwelo Computer System and Communication Equipment Design L.L.C-FZ, a Limited Liability Company incorporated in the Meydan Free Zone (Meydan FZ), Dubai, UAE (Formation No. 2652765, Licence No. 2652765.01), registered office Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, U.A.E. (“Kwelo”, “we”). By creating an account or using Kwelo, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use Kwelo.
You must be at least 13 years old (the age of digital consent in Finland); under-18s should have a parent/guardian’s permission. By using Kwelo you confirm you meet this.
Kwelo is a discovery platform that helps you find places and things to do (restaurants, saunas, events, trails and more) across Finland, with a mood-based approach, a loyalty programme, and partner venues.
Kwelo lists both partner venues and places drawn from public/open data. We are not the operator of these venues. We don’t guarantee prices, opening hours, availability, or the quality of any venue or event — always check with the venue directly. Bookings and transactions with venues are between you and the venue.
Keep your login details secure; you’re responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at privacy@mesta.eu.com if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.
You agree not to: break the law; post unlawful, infringing, hateful, misleading or abusive content; harass others; scrape or bulk-extract our data; probe, attack, or circumvent our security or rate limits; abuse or game the loyalty/points system; impersonate anyone; or misuse the service in any way that harms Kwelo, venues or other users.
You keep ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant Kwelo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it within the Kwelo service to operate and promote the platform. You confirm you have the rights to what you post and that it doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights.
We may moderate, remove, or refuse content that breaches these Terms. Copyright complaints are handled under our Copyright / Takedown process. You can report content in-app, and block other users.
Points and rewards are a promotional loyalty benefit, have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are non-transferable. Points are earned only as described in the app (e.g. verified activity at partner venues). We may adjust, withhold, or revoke points and rewards obtained through fraud, error, or abuse, and we may change or end the programme with reasonable notice. Rewards are subject to availability and any venue’s participation.
Paid subscriptions are billed through Apple’s App Store / Google Play under their terms. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel in your App Store / Google Play account. Prices and what’s included are shown before you purchase. Your statutory consumer rights under Finnish and EU law, including any applicable right of withdrawal for digital services, are not affected.
The Kwelo name, logo, app, design, and content (excluding user content and third-party/open data, which carry their own licences and attributions) belong to Kwelo. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.
Some listings use open data (e.g. OpenStreetMap — © OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL; LIPAS / Jyväskylän yliopisto, CC BY 4.0). These are provided under their own licences, and we display the required attributions in the app.
Kwelo is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for your dealings with any venue. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including your mandatory rights as a consumer under Finnish and EU law, or liability for death/personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
You can stop using Kwelo and delete your account anytime (how). We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or misuse.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates (Emirate of Dubai), without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence — for EU/EEA consumers, the mandatory protections of your home country always apply and cannot be overridden by this clause. If you’re an EU consumer, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform and the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta).
We may update these Terms; we’ll post the new date and notify you of material changes. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
