The only thing this website collects that's tied to you personally is the email you give us when you join the waitlist or send an enquiry. Nothing else. No ad tracking, no data sales. We do count visits with a privacy-friendly, cookieless tool — but it can't identify you (more below).
Kwelo is the working name of the team building the Kwelo app — Finland's lifestyle and hospitality discovery platform, opening at the end of July 2026. The operating company is currently being registered; we'll add its legal details here the moment that's done.
When you join the waitlist: your email address, the page you joined from, and the time. We use it to tell you when Kwelo launches, plus at most a small number of launch updates. When a venue sends an enquiry: the details you type into the form, used only to reply to you.
To understand how many people visit and which pages they read, we use Plausible Analytics — a privacy-friendly tool that sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and collects no personal data. It counts page views in aggregate and can't identify you or follow you across sites, which is why it needs no consent pop-up. You can read how it works at plausible.io/data-policy.
We don't sell, rent or share your email with anyone. We don't run advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't profile you. The only thing stored on your own device is your language choice (and a note that you've seen this notice).
Any time. Every email we send includes a way to leave the list, or just reply and ask — we delete your address. Waitlist emails are also deleted once the waitlist has served its purpose after launch.
You can ask us what we hold about you (it's your email), have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw consent at any time — reach us through the form on this site and a person will reply. You can also complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
When the app launches it will have its own, fuller privacy policy covering accounts, and this page will be updated with the company's legal details after registration completes. What won't change: we only ever collect what we plainly tell you about. — Kwelo-tiimi
