Kwelo — Account & Data Deletion

Interim policy — effective 30 August 2026, under final legal review.

1. Delete your account in the app

You can delete your Kwelo account and personal data directly:

Open Kwelo → Settings/Profile → Delete account → confirm.

This permanently removes your account and starts deletion of your personal data.

2. Delete by request

If you can’t access the app, email privacy@mesta.eu.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

3. What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise the personal data associated with it, including your profile, favourites, saved lists, check-ins, points/rewards, and push token.

• Reviews / photos: we anonymise your reviews (the rating and text stay, your identity is removed); uploaded photos are deleted.
• Timeline: deletion completes within 30 days of your request.

4. What we may keep

We may retain a limited amount of data where the law requires it — for example, payment and tax records for subscription purchases — for the legally required period, and minimal security logs. These are kept only as long as necessary and are not used for any other purpose.
