1. Delete your account in the app
Open Kwelo → Profile tab → Settings (gear icon) → scroll to the bottom → Delete account → Delete account
(confirm).
Your account is then marked for deletion and you are signed out. You have 30 days to change your mind: sign
back in during that time and your account is restored. After 30 days your account and personal data are
permanently deleted.
2. Delete by request
If you can’t get into the app, email tietosuoja@kweloapp.com from the email address on your account and ask
us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm something only the account holder would know. We act within one
month.
3. What gets deleted
Deleted with the account: your email address, username, password, date of birth, referral code, profile
(display name, home city, language), and every usage-analytics event linked to your account.
On your phone: favourites, saved lists, private ratings, check-ins and preferences are stored on your
device only; they are cleared the moment you delete your account (and whenever you sign out). Uninstalling the
app removes them too.
When Kwelo Rewards is live: your visits, points, treats and any receipt photos entered for you are deleted;
unused treats are lost and cannot be restored.
When public reviews are live: we anonymise your reviews — the rating and text stay, your identity is
removed. Photos you uploaded are deleted.
4. What we may keep
Only what the law makes us keep: for example payment and tax records if you bought a subscription, kept for the
legally required period, and short security logs. These are not used for anything else.
