Kwelo — Copyright & Takedown Policy

Interim policy — effective 30 August 2026, under final legal review. Covers user-generated content (reviews, photos).

1. Our approach

Kwelo lets users post content (reviews, photos). We respect intellectual-property rights and respond to valid complaints of infringement. If you believe content on Kwelo infringes your copyright, tell us and we’ll act.

2. How to file a copyright complaint

Email privacy@mesta.eu.com with subject “Copyright complaint”, including:

Your name and contact details.
Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed.
The specific content on Kwelo (link/screenshot/where it appears) you want removed.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder or the law.
A statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act.
Your signature (electronic is fine).

We will review and, where the complaint is valid, remove or disable the content and notify the user who posted it.

3. Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to privacy@mesta.eu.com with the equivalent details and a statement of good-faith belief. We may restore the content per applicable law.

4. Repeat infringers

We will suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe.

5. Designated agent (US DMCA safe-harbour)

We are registering a DMCA designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office; the agent’s details will be listed here once registration completes. In the meantime — and for EU/Finnish users at any time — the notice-and-action process above applies under the EU Digital Services Act / e-Commerce rules.
